Eric B asked: I bought a car from a lady I work with (it’s a 1999 Chevy Lumina), and I bought a carfax report after I bought it for fun to just see it’s history, and it turns out it was a rental car in Greensboro, NC for a year. Now, I will say this car is an excellent car, with no problems whatsoever, and it never has anything major (just the usual things car have like batteries or tires). In my opinion it is as dependable as a new car, and one of the best cars I’ve owned. For fun, (I’m really into the history of my cars), is there any possible way to see the history of my car when it was a rental? All I know was that it was in Greensboro, NC, but I dont know which company owned it. It says it was a major company is all….. Is there some type of way I can see it’s history? The carfax report doesn’t help me, because I want to know about it WHEN it was a rental.
Thanks!

kadmarco asked: How long will it take car companies (like the failing ones right now…) to develop their own hybrid cars? Especially hybrid trucks.
Also, how long does it take to create new hybrid technology?

equine63 asked: I’m looking for a car and to tell you the truth, I’m not really sure where to start. I love fast cars, supercharged engines, and everything else. What car would be good for a low budget and would still make guys jealous? I’m also wondering, with your opinion of car, what would look good on it. A carbon fiber hood, some black light headlights, and so on. What do you think?
Pictures would be greatly appreciated if you could add them.

Sarah asked: I am planning on decorating my friend’s car for senior graduation. I want to write stuff on her car using the special paint that most people use to put go team on their cars. I’m not quite sure what they use. Anybody know? Or that has done it before?
If all else fails, what else can I use to draw/paint on people’s cars that is not permanent?

chicagosucks82 asked: In the market for a new car, wondering your opinions of the most comfortable cars in terms of size but also comfort. I always liked my grandparents cars, always owned buicks, lincolns, caddies, etc with the couch like seats. What is a late model car that most closely resembles that? Also, do they still make bench seats in cars? I think inmpala did up until a year or two ago but any others?

Vitz asked: I need a serious answer .
You are in the house and the car is in the garage. You start up the car and close the garage door shut, the garage does have the little small spot for air. Can you die or suffer intoxication (or how that’s call) from the CO2 that the car release while you are in the house ???
I don’t think so but my mom kept arguing with me and open the garage door ~_~. Unless you are deathtrap or something. I don’t want to but it is winter and it’s so cold to leave it open .

Free and equal asked: Rail and Boat is a great way to see the world and meet interesting and fun people !
With train travel there is 2 percent of the pollution compared to a car. So 50 times more people can travel with no additional pollution. With boat travel there is just one percent of the pollution caused by air travel. Also rail and boat are socially available to all wheras cars and planes are so expensive only a few people can afford them. Also cars and planes damage the planet so much that we have climate change. So obviously we need government to promote responsible travel by rail and boat (and walking and cycling) and tax properly car drivers for all the damage they cause (pollution, road accidents, road building, car disposal etc.) With this additional tax more can be spent on transport that benefits everybody not just the few.

Middenraker asked: That daft wee box at traffic lights for bikes to get priority when the light go green. Why? I have never seen a bike out run a car. With 10 yards of the lights the bike is causing an obstruction to following vehicles and that surely defeats the point of allowing cyclists to be there in the first place?
J Bird we are talking about a push bike here. Motorbikes i don`t have a problem with.
Guys the wee box at the front of the lights has nothing to do with safety. A cyclist is as safe in the middle or back of the queue as he is at the front. Our political masters have tried to sell these daft wee boxes on the principle that cyclists are faster off the mark at lights than a car driver. This isn`t so because within seconds the cars have caught up and the cyclist does nothing but CAUSE congestion. It wouldn`t surprise me if one day a cyclist is run over moving away from one of these boxes as the ensuing cars try to manoevre around the cyclist.
