I am visiting Guilin in November and I want to go on a boat trip towards Yangshuo. I know most people go during the day, but I have heard it can be very busy and the trip doesn’t last very long in the Winter when the river is low. I have also read about 1hr 30min trips from Caoping at Sunrise, but can anybody tell me what the weather is normally like at that time of the morning in November in Guilin? Is sunrise spectacular, or a let down? Will there be many tourists in Guilin at that time of year?
