I am either thinking of buying a private jet or turning my boat into a jet. I would need it to travel about 600 miles every day. Is this in anyway possible?

Possible? Maybe. Feasible? Prob. not
If you don’t need your boat, why not sell it. Buy the Jet! It would be quicker and safer.
Keep the boat and buy a magic carpet because the gas mileage is so good, on the magic carpet.
Cheapest jet currently available is the Eclipse at $1.3million. It flies at 400 mph so you could do the trip in a couple hours, give or take.
I know it is not nice to answer a question with another question, but how about moving closer to where you work? 600 miles daily commute? I can see why you want a private mode of transportation. The commercial airlines would have waster your whole day getting there. I do not think traveling very fast on water in any craft is a very good or safe idea. Jet aircraft you are looking at a hefty price tag not counting the upkeep costs. How about a nice twin engine? Cost will be about half of the cheapest jet and a lot cheaper to maintain. To answer your question more definitely, the boat is not a good idea, the jet is a good idea if you make the income to support it. A nice twin engine sounds to me like a happy medium unless you really must enter the jet era.
Good Luck!
Hey… Don’t let these idiots bring you down. If you have enough money, you can do anything you want!
a jet boat? yes, those exist, a flying one, with enough money and imagination, sure, strap on wings and engines, there u go
With enough money anything is possible.
Yes, why not but lots of modification.Have you heard about hydrofoil, this boats are powered by jet engine, and skim thru the water surface at high speed.but not 600mph.
Sure. It will require lots of money and you will probably NEVER get it certified. I sure wouldn’t want to be anywhere near it.
You can turn a brick into a jet or a car into a rocket with enough thrust and money . . . . That doesn’t make it a good idea . . .. .
