I have a Montague folding bike and I've been commuting with it for almost two years. I ride part of the way to work (about 3 miles), then I fold it and take it on the train. When I get off the train it's only 1 more mile to my office. The total trip takes around 40 minutes, and I change at work. If I take my car, the drive is about 30 minutes, so I would much rather commute 10 minutes longer each way and avoid traffic and paying for gas plus get good exercise. The great thing about my Montague folding bike is that it's full-size when unfolded, but it has the perks of a folding bike for public transit and storage.
