Marcus asked:
The Government In the UK is trying to reduce car pollution by setting up high taxes for the worse offenders but if you get caught running your diesel on waste fish chip oil you get fined for not paying fuel tax? My mot tester couldn’t believe my car registered so low in his pollution tester yet running it on old oil is illegal. And what about LPG for petrol cars? Nobody ever mentions LPG yet every EU Government provide funds to help with the conversion as thy know LPG vehicles are as clean running as bicycles, they are also cheaper to run and prolong engine life . Pollution is a serious problem and should be dealt with as such.
What gives? Are they so insensitive that they see this as just another way to make money?

The Government likes to tax consumables. When they start taxing used fish and chip oil, it will be plentiful.
They’ll soon find that taxing people won’t be good enough, either they get in gear or they’ll be the ones having to fork out the big money, give it ten years you’ll see. Just don’t buy anywhere near the sea.
