Folding electric bike : your best choice

Electric bicycle commuting rocks. The biker breathes out healthy, safe, fast, cheap and the only emission. But it does have its own problems. One reason is that the shape of that bikes are always very awkward. if you want to go somewhere with your bike or if there is no bike rack, you’re reduced to lugging a very cumbersome package around with you.

Thus, the concept of the folding electric bike. You might be surprised to learn that there are actually quite a lot of these guys out there. They range from frugal to near-car prices and from the practical to the nonsensical. And today, at EcoGeek, we are going to show you the best of the folding electric bikes.

Let’s start out with the cheapest. Citizen is probably the brand for you if you loved one needs a folding bicycle this season. And we move immediately into what is I’ve ever seen honestly the strangest bike now. It is said that the A-Bike is the world’s smallest and lightest folding bike. I wouldn’t doubt it. It’s about 6 kilograms and you can get one in england for about 200 pounds. But, really, is that actually going to work? From the knowing about the bicycles, I think the angular momentum of the tires is what keeps you steady.

A lot of designers seem to think “While I’m trying out one untested technology, I might as well incorporate two.”And with these next two examples that’s what happened. The Jacknife is a prototype folding bike that simply doubles over on itself. Most electric bikes can not do this because of the traditional chain/gear system. Using a hydraulic pedal drive instead of the Jacknife. Or, at least, it says it does, I can’t figure out what that means, or how it works. That’s why it’s still a prototype, i guess.
