MICHELLE B asked:
I was just wondering how long if I didn’t take a flight, how long it would take by ferry, ship or boat to Japan? I assume some weeks perhaps, hope not but just curiosity, thanks.
Thanks made in Japan, I feel better knowing about nothing bad will happen, I guess I know nothing bad will happen , being fearful of flying always makes you think the worse and your right it is only a few hours.

about a month I should think
I had a neighbour who was in the Royal Marines during the war, and he fought against the Japanese. I once asked him how long it took to get him to the Pacific by boat, and he said it took them 5 weeks to get there
It takes four to five weeks, depending on weather conditions and the style boat that you take.
I truly recommend flying; it will be over within a few hours and I assure you that noting bad will happen.
If you really cannot fly, then why don’t you take time off to tour through Europe and Asia and slowly make your way to Japan? That way, you will experience a whole world of culture in the same amount of time it could take you to sit on a boat to Japan.
I didn’t think there was a service between Ireland and Japan.
