arghh me hearty surely ye be meaning 3 bunks and a galley argh, ye be talking a kings ransom indeed maybe a bucket of ducets a schooner weighed down with spanish gold. typical motor cruiser 27 foot second hand about 40 k. so average on condition 25-50 k second hand. i always wanted a boat of my own no chance of ever getting a rowing boat even. but if you can afford one rent it out with you as first mate hubby as captain and take fishing trips out on the lakes or short range fishing sea trips. throw the beer in for free and a fry 50 quid a head for a party of 6, 8 hour trip. good money pays the overheads.

You do not drive a boat you steer a boat. Look on e.bay for a rough estimate and depends where your park (moor) it
